During the April 9th Assembly, our cheer contest contestants performed their cheers, with a little help from the PEM Cheer Team. Winning the grand prize of an iPod nano was Dan Denette, with his "We Will, We Will PEM You" cheer. Second and third place winners were Jennifer Wilson and Drew Anderson, who each received gift certificates. Photos of the entire event are forthcoming!
Dan Denette's Winning Cheer Sherman
Rhythm – Queen’s “We will rock you” (stomp-stomp-clap, stomp-stomp-clap)
Regular type – cheer leade
Bold – audience
Singing:
We will, We will- PEM you!!
We will, We will- PEM you!!
We’re not naturally smart, we learn part by part. PEMs are here to break it all down for you. They won’t affect grades, and your memory fades, so quiz yourself and see if you’re up to pace.
We will, We will- PEM you!!
Sing it!
We will, We will- PEM you!!
Why do we need them you ask, I don’t need another task, I’ve got enough on my plate today! Well our board scores are weak, moral needs a tweak, and we’re the ones with the knowledge to seek.
We will, We will- PEM you!!
We will, We will- PEM you!!
Everybody!
We will, We will- PEM you!!
We will, We will- PEM you!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Drew Anderson's Third Place Cheer: Based on the song by Alabama Sherman College Congratulations to all!CHORUS:
SONG, SONG OF THE SCHOOL, SWEET PEM’s KEEP US COOL,|
GONE, GONE WITH THE WIND, THERE AIN’T NOBODY FAILING OUT AGAINLearnin in the classroom, learnin in the clinic
We all worked hard and it was no picnic
Lyle was a chiropractor, a brave pioneer
We oughta pay tribute and toast him a cheer
Many people said
But here we are passing boards with 375
Quarters are short and the goals are tall
But Performance Enhancing Modules are going to save us all
Students work hard and need a hand
PEM’s are going to help and decrease the demand
Now Students can improve their GPA’s,
Soon after graduation, they can hire their CA
(CHORUS)
